ἐπὶ τὸν Ἐλαιοῦντα. Again Thucyd. has omitted to say that the captured ships had been deposited there.

τὰς ἐκεῖθεν ναῦς v. c. 95. This fleet was wrecked off Mt. Athos (Diod. xiii. 41). But Hippocrates was saved, as appears from Xen. Hell. i. 1, 23.
