The partitive genitive may denote the part touched or taken hold of. E. g. A 197, “ξανθῆς δὲ κόμης ἕλε Πηλείωνα”, ‘and she caught the son of Peleus by his yellow hair.’ So A 323, “χειρός. Π” 762, “κεφαλῆφιν”.
