Revision of the Septuagint

Theodoret (Dissert. MS. in Prophetas et Editiones, and Quaestio xxiv. in Exod. and Quaestio x. in Josuam) mentions a Joannes Josephus (Ἰωάννης Ἰώσηπος) as having revised the Septuagint.

Ὑπομνηστικὸν,

Hody thinks it probable that he was the same as Josephus, a Christian [JOSEPHUS, No. 12], and author of a work extant in MS., entitled Ὑπομνηστικὸν, Hypomnesticum s. Commonitorium, whom Cave (Hist. Litt. vol. i. p. 397) places in the year 420.
