SAINT-ROME-DE-CERNON Aveyron, France.

The cave of Sargel, probably occupied since the Neolithic Age, has yielded many artifacts of the Iron Age and Gallo-Roman periods (coins, fibulas, pottery, rings). These were offerings and attest the continuity of a cult which lasted at least until the 1st c. A.D.
