Seleucis

（Σελευκίς). The most beautiful and fertile district of Syria, containing the northwestern part of the country between Mount Amanus on the north, the Mediterranean on the west, the districts of Cyrrhesticé and Chalybonitis on the northeast, the desert on the east, and Coele-Syria and the mountains of Lebanon on the south.
