Sirenūsae

Called by Vergil ( Aen. v. 864) Sirēnum Scopŭli. Three small uninhabited and rocky islands near the south side of the Promontory Misenum, off the coast of Campania, which were, according to tradition, the abode of the Sirens. See Sirenes.
