Sinae

Σῖναι) (a name probably derived from the Chinese district or kingdom of Tsin). The easternmost people of Asia. Ptolemy describes their country as bounded on the north by Serica, and on the south and west by India extra Gangem. It corresponded to the southern part of China and the eastern part of the Burmese peninsula.
