Granius Liciniānus

A Roman historian, who probably flourished in the second century A.D. He was the author of a work of some forty books, compiled in the style of annales, ending with the death of Caesar. Some considerable fragments have been found in modern times of books xxviii.xxxvi., covering the history of the years B.C. 163- 178. Licinianus was first edited from a codex in the British Museum by Pertz (Berlin, 1857). See Madvig, Kleine philol. Schriften (Leipzig, 1875).
