Ars Poetĭca

A poetical epistle written by Q. Horatius Flaccus (q.v.) in hexameters, and addressed to the Pisos. It is best regarded as an expression of his matured views on topics connected with literary studies. It abounds in happy turns of phrase, and is marked throughout its lines by sound sense and excellent literary taste.
