The following interesting table, showing the number of deaths of soldiers of the
Confederate States army reported to the Second Auditor's office up to December 31st, 1863, with the percentage of loss upon the population of each State, has been furnished for publication by
Mr. W. A. S. Taylor, the gentleman in charge of that office:
