Aeginetārum Feriae

Αἰγινητῶν ἑορτή). A feast in honour of Poseidon, which lasted sixteen days, during which time every family took its meals alone without the attendance of the slaves. Its origin is described by Plutarch (Quaest. Graec. 44).
