Nestus

（Νέστος), sometimes Nessus. A river in Thrace, rising in Mount Rhodopé, and falling into the Aegean Sea opposite the island of Thasos. The Nestus formed the eastern boundary of Macedonia from the time of Philip and Alexander the Great.
