Dictynna

Δίκτυννα or Δίκτυνα). A surname of both Britomartis and Artemis, two divinities who were subsequently identified. The name is connected with δίκτυον, “a hunting-net,” and was borne by Britomartis and by Artemis as goddesses of the chase (Herod.iii. 59). See Artemis; Britomartis.
