Androgeonia

Ἀνδρογεώνια). A festival with games, held every year in the Ceramicus at Athens, in honour of the hero Androgeos, son of Minos, who had overcome all his adversaries in the festive games of the Panathenaea, and was afterwards killed by order of Aegeus (q.v.).
