I. Publicists' t. t., an inquiry of the people as to whether they will decree this or that, a proposal to the people for passing a law or decree, a proposed law or decree, a bill: “quae (rogatio) de Pompeio a Gellio et a Lentulo consulibus lata est,was proposed, presented, introduced, Cic.
