Ylioppilas Turussa kl. 1802 <em>Gripenberg. Odert Henr. _ 877.</em> — Adjutantti Uudenmaan prikaatin kevyessä rakuunaosastossa 1806. Aliluutnantti Ruotsin sotamittauskunnassa s.v. Luutnantti Hämeen läänin jalkaväkirykmentissä 1808, ero Ruotsin palveluksesta 1811. Pedagogisia opintoja <em>Pestalozzin</em> luona Sveitsissä. Perusti 1812 yksityisen internaattikoulun, joka toimi aluksi Hämeenlinnassa, vuodesta 1813 Porissa ja viimeksi Sääksmäen Voipaalassa 1817-22. Haminan kadettikoulun alkeiskoulun tarkastaja 1822-28. Vuokraaja Sipoon Savijärvellä.
