3. A poet of the Greek Anthology, who had a place in the Garland of Meleager, and lived, as is evident from his 6th epigram, between the times of Epiaurus and of Meleager, that is, between the early part of the third and the early part of the first centuries B. C. We have eight of his epigrams. (Brunck, And.vol. ii. p. 52; Jacobs, Anth. Graec. vol. ii. p. 53, vol. xiii. p. 933.)

In the article on Soranus, we find: "at this present time (1848)" and this date seems to reflect the dates of works cited. 1873 - probably the printing date.
