1. An Athenian comic poet of the old comedy, whose plays
Ἅσωποι ἢ Ἐπιοστλή and
Ἀταλάντη are mentioned by Suidas (
s. v. Εὐθυκλῆς and
Βοῦς ἕβδομος), and the former is quoted by Athcnaeus (iii. p. 124c.). Nothing more is known of him. (Meineke,
