STEPHANAPHANA
STEPHANAPHANA more correctly, perhaps, Stephani Fanum, a place in Illyris Graeca, on the Via Egnatia (
Itin. Hieros. p. 608).
It was the castle of St. Stephen (
τοῦ ἁλίου Στεφάνου), repaired by Justinian. (Procop.
de Aed. 4.4.) Lapie places it on the river
Boscovitza. [
