Pomōna

An old Italian divinity presiding over the fruit of trees (poma). Her service was performed by a special priest (flamen Pomonalis), and she had a special sanctuary (Pomonal) between Ardea and Ostia. See Varro, L. L. vii. 45, and Vertumnus.
