The son of Cretheus and Tyro and brother of Aeson and Amythaon; he was married to
Periclymené, by whom he became the father of Admetus, Lycurgus,
Idomené, and Periapis. He was believed to have founded the town of Pherae in
Thessaly.
2.
Son of Iason and Medea.
3.
A follower of Pallas, who fought on the side of Aeneas against Turnus, and was slain by
Halesus.
