Locusta

or more correctly, Lucusta. A famous female poisoner, employed by Agrippina in poisoning the emperor Claudius, and by Nero for dispatching Britannicus. She was put to death in the reign of Galba (Tac. Ann. xii. 66; xiii. 15).
