Cynossēma

（Κυνὸς Σῆμα, i. e. “Dog's Tomb”). A promontory in the Thracian Chersonesus near Madytus, so called because it was supposed to be the tomb of Hecuba, who had been previously changed into a dog. See Hecuba.
