ὁμόσε ὁμός

1.to one and the same place, Il.; ὁμόσ᾽ ἦλθε μάχη the battle came to the same spot, i. e. the armies met, id=Il.; ὁμόσε ἰέναι, like Lat. cominus pugnare, ὁμ. ἰέναι τοῖς ἐχθροῖς to close with the enemy, Thuc.; ὁμ. χωρεῖν; so, ὁμ. θεῖν, φέρεσθαι to run to meet, Xen.
2.metaph., ὁμ. ἰέναι τοῖς λόγοις to come to issue with the arguments, Eur.
