ἐπιλήθω 1 note also the form ἐπιλανθάνομαι

I.to cause to forget a thing, c. gen., Od.: —Pass. to be forgotten, perf. part. ἐπιλελησμένος NTest.
II.Mid. ἐπι-λήθομαι and -λανθάνομαι, fut. -λήσομαι: aor2 -ελα^θόμην: with perf. act. -λέληθα and pass. -λέλησμαι: plup. -ελελήσμην: — to let a thing escape one, to forget, lose thought of, c. gen., ὅπως Ἰθάκης ἐπιλήσεται (epic for -ηται) Od.; so Hdt., attic:—also c. acc., Hdt., Eur., etc.:—c. inf., Ar., Plat.
2.to forget wilfully, ἑκὼν ἐπιλήθομαι Hdt.
